A well-established organization providing services and solutions to a wide range of business clients is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day AR functions including invoicing, collections, payment application, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely cash flow management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

AR Specialist Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• The AR Specialist will monitor outstanding balances and support collections efforts through professional customer communication

• The AR Specialist will record, apply, and reconcile incoming payments to customer accounts

• Assist with customer account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies

• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and supporting documentation

• The AR Specialist will generate basic AR reports for internal review and financial reporting needs

• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and payment tracking

Qualifications of the AR Specialist Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred

• Prior accounting or finance experience preferred, but not required

• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities effectively
