Overview:
Q.A. Coordinator
Pay:
Starting at $34.00/hr
Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:
Provide oversight, training, and development for QA policies and activities
Provide leadership within plant for QA initiatives and audits.
Develop, write and review SOPs and ensure they are updated and followed.
Investigation and documentation of incidents and communication of key learnings.
Ensure that all regulations are met for Local, State and Federal
Analyze and lead the investigation and reporting of consumer and customer complaints
Facilitate the PWS and NY compliance reporting
Coordinate audits and actions to correct and prevent nonconformances
Consult with all departments to provide expertise and ensure compliance with standards, processes, and permits
Partner cross functionally with the Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to maximize results
Facilitate the execution of changes and activities needed to support Primo Brands Continuous Excellence (BCE) and the pursuit of TPM
Assist the QA Leadership with leading all company Quality initiatives and Quality audits locally
Ensure compliance and record-keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing, sampling and sanitation activities
Manage budgeting, purchasing and inventory of plant operating supplies such as filters, chemicals and lab supplies
Use continuous improvement methodologies and projects to improve and streamline quality processes
Ensure plant compliance to good hygiene practices, good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and HACCP
Communicate new quality programs as needed and facilitate or support the training of plant personnel
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years industry operational experience
Bachelor's degree in related subjects
Ability to work with multiple people and projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organization skills
Strong written and verbal skills
Goal-oriented, autonomous, and able to meet deadlines
Strong computer skills:
Microsoft Office and Database Systems Experience
Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement principles and processes
Supervisory background preferred
Knowledge of ISO standards and related activities
Ability to work schedule that may vary since our factories operate 24/7 to meet operational needs
