Role OverviewResponsible for assembling standard and custom vacuum systems using provided documentation, drawings, and BOMs. Tasks include mechanical assembly, minimal wiring, testing, and final prep for shipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble systems and components per engineering specs.
- Perform mechanical tasks (bolting, drilling, tapping) and basic electrical wiring.
- Conduct system testing and leak checks.
- Ensure quality and timely completion of work.
- Use electrical test equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Participate in safety training and continuous learning.
A background in mechanics is required.
Qualifications- Technical degree preferred; high school diploma accepted.
- Entry‑level role; less than 1 year of experience in mechanical/electromechanical assembly or similar.
- Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to use hand/power tools and measuring devices.
- Able to read assembly drawings and understand basic wiring.
- Team‑oriented, able to lift up to 40 lbs and operate overhead/jib cranes.
- Comfortable in a Lean/6S environment.
- Customer‑focused, flexible, and willing to work overtime.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
