CNC Programming Manufacturing Engineer I

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (On-site | Direct Hire)
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 + Full Benefits

We're looking for a hands-on CNC Programming Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and drive efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, programming, and improving processes while working closely with production teams.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain CNC programs for shop floor operations
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to program precision parts
  • Utilize Mastercam and CREO to build models and toolpaths
  • Support production by optimizing processes for quality, efficiency, and cost control
  • Maintain accurate programs, routings, and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers on design and engineering questions
  • Assist with quoting new jobs, tooling, and production setup
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of CNC machining/programming experience
  • Strong knowledge of G-code and blueprint reading
  • Experience with CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
  • Familiarity with Fanuc or Mazak controls
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a production-driven environment

Additional Details
  • On-site role with time split between office and production floor
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
  • PPE required (steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
