Responsibilities

Provide patient– and family-centered care by using the nursing process, incorporating evidence‑based practice, patient goals, and cultural beliefs to develop individualized nursing plans of care. Interact with co‑workers, patients, family/delegated care partners, and interdisciplinary team members in a collaborative, respectful environment. Deliver education to patients and their families in an understandable and affirming manner, emphasizing safety, health literacy, and empowerment. Monitor patient outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to enhance quality and safety of care.

Participate in committees related to safety and quality improvement, provide and receive constructive feedback, and act as a primary preceptor to staff. Float to all units within the Northern region as required.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience:
  
  4 years as an RN in an acute‑care setting, including MED/SURG/TELE‑PHONIC experience
• Licensed:
  Registered Nurse in PA (RN) with BLS, AHA ACLS RN certification; credentialed in PA (PA‑ER, NP, or similar)
• Must be able to float to all units in the Northern region

• Patient‑ and family‑centered practice, cultural awareness, and effective communication
• Clinical assessment, nursing diagnosis, and development of evidence‑based care plans
• Medication administration and prescription, discharge planning, and health information documentation
• Conflict resolution, problem solving, and commitment to lifelong learning
• Delegation and team collaboration; willingness to give and receive feedback

• BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Registered Nurses
• State of Pennsylvania RN license

Workday and Night shifts (U.S.) – Regular employee
