Location: Emigsville

Employment Type: Full Time; 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction while adhering to our Quality Management System. This role involves various inspection and calibration tasks to ensure product integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Essential Key Functions and Responsibilities
  • Customer Focus: Keep commitments to both internal and external customers, addressing concerns and requests effectively.
  • Quality Management: Understand and adhere to our Quality Management System and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma methodology.
  • Problem Solving: Seek and implement innovative solutions to improve processes and overcome challenges.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and foster teamwork while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Prioritize safety for self and others, aiming for zero recordable accidents. Maintain effective housekeeping practices, including 5S.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, including GD&T.
  • Experience with CMM programming and operation, specifically Open DIMIS.
  • Familiarity with FAROARM and inspection arm programming/operation.
  • Knowledge of the Production Part Approval Process.
  • Competent in using precision measuring instruments and conducting statistical process control (SPC) analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma required;
    Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS16949) and relevant quality control processes.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of GR&R and basic metallurgy.
    • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds frequently.
    • Basic knowledge of scientific calculations, trigonometry, and geometry.
