Quality Manager

Responsible for a quality management system, compliant with standardized requirements for assigned location(s). Leads continuous improvement programs related to quality. Leads a high-performing quality team towards achievement of departmental objectives.

Job Responsibilities

* Develops and maintains quality management system to ensure highest quality parts reach our customers. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build and uphold effective system and related processes.

* Leads high-performing quality team. Trains and guides new hires and current employees.

* Creates and maintains strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring expectations are met consistently.

* Performs quality, supplier, process, and other audits as required.

* Defines and executes quality departmental objectives.

* Monitors product quality through audits, returns, inspections, cost reports, and customer scorecards. Performs root cause failure analyses and communicates resolution to customers and internal stakeholders.

* Maintains an effective corrective and preventative action plan to ensure continuous improvement in quality metrics.

* Completes other projects as assigned.

Educational Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, quality, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.

* ASQ Certification preferred.

Experience Requirements

* Seven years of experience in quality or related.

* Manufacturing background required.

* Demonstrated success in leadership positions.
