Position Specifics:

Department: Sales

Reports To: Store Manager and RAM

Supervises: None


Provides product expertise and support to dealership personnel and customers in selling commercial mowing equipment and agricultural farm equipment.


  • Represents the Dealership in the sale of commercial mowing and agricultural equipment to customers in a defined sales area
  • Creates, develops, and maintains customer accounts in the commercial mowing and farming segment
  • Knows and follows a defined sales process
  • Maintains product knowledge on commercial mowing and agricultural equipment and reports on competitive marketing and product activities
  • Maintains and reports all customer activities and trends in assigned territory to sales management
  • Understands various financing options available on commercial mowing and agricultural equipment
  • Organizes product demonstrations and clinics for commercial mowing customers and participates in local trade shows and dealership promotional events
  • Maintains dealership vehicle and other equipment as assigned
  • May also be responsible for sales of Commercial Worksite Products (CWP)
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by your manager

. Requirements:

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • 1+ years equipment sales experience
  • Knowledge of commercial mowing products and the landscape industry, as well as agricultural equipment and the farming industry
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to speak and write effectively one-on-one and within a group
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
