American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Cardiac unit position requiring an active Illinois RN license and Epic charting experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital-based Med/Surg Cardiac unit
- Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Cares for cardiac patients in a Level 1 Trauma setting
- Uses the Epic electronic medical record system
- Implement and adjust patient care plans based on continuous assessment and evaluation
- Maintain accurate documentation to support patient care and team communication
- Night shift schedule with holiday and weekend requirements as needed
- Not open to local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility
- Maximum RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed is seven days per 13-week contract
- Previous contingent workers must wait six months after one year of continuous service before returning
- No travel partners are accepted for this assignment
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temp licenses accepted)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year of recent nursing experience in a relevant setting
- Documented experience with Epic charting
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
