What You'll Be DoingAs part of our responsive MIS team, you will be the guardian of our student data, ensuring everything is accurate, up-to-date, and running smoothly. Your main days will involve:
- Data Brilliance:
Inputting and updating vital student information, including enrolments, withdrawals, transfers, and achievements. - Problem Solving:
Handling service desk requests, emails, and phone calls promptly to support our curriculum and support teams. - Quality Checking:
Systematically validating data fields to make sure our records comply with funding rules and regulations. - Enrolment Magic:
Team up with our Student Services teams during exciting, high-demand peak periods like student enrolment. - Collaborating:
Actively participating in team meetings, supporting colleagues, and sharing workloads to keep the team spirit high.
The Essentials:
- Education & IT:
Educated to Level 2 (or equivalent) with solid GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above). - Experience:
A background working in administration or a data-focused role, ideally within a busy office environment. - Skills:
Speedy and accurate data entry skills, a methodical approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to handle confidential info with total discretion. - People
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to changing tasks at short notice, and a true love for customer care.
