Vaco has partnered with a healthcare organization that is in search of an Interim Senior Accountant to support the accounting team during a transition phase. This role is critical to ensuring continuity, accuracy, and efficiency across the department during a busy period.
Job Title:
Interim Senior Accountant
Location:
Phoenix (hybrid)
Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour
Project Duration: 2-3 months (potential for contract-to-hire)
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare accurate journal entries
- Support month-end close tasks and ongoing accounting operations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Ad hoc assignments as requested
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of GL accounting experience
- Healthcare accounting experience required
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite at the Phoenix office
