Accounting Manager

Scottsdale, AZ | Hybrid Schedule | 4 Days Onsite | $135-145K + 10% Bonus

This is not a “keep the lights on” accounting role. We are seeking an Accounting Manager for a growing Scottsdale-based organization that needs someone who can bring strong technical accounting skills, roll up their sleeves, and help build a more scalable accounting function.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being close to the business, solving problems, improving processes, and working with leadership on meaningful accounting initiatives.

What You’ll Own

• Lead key areas of the close process
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, schedules, and supporting analysis
• Partner with leadership on technical accounting matters
• Support projects involving ASC 842, lease accounting, fixed assets, capitalization, and international accounting items
• Help identify gaps, improve workflows, and strengthen controls
• Work cross-functionally with teams across the business
• Mentor and guide team members
• Support audit requests and accounting policy consistency

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• Strong technical accounting foundation
• Public accounting, industry accounting, or a blend of both
• Prior supervisory, team lead, or mentoring experience
• Strong GAAP, close, reconciliations, and audit support experience
• Systems-savvy mindset and strong Excel skills
• Go-getter personality with a desire to take ownership and grow
