Grading Foreman

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Grading Foreman to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of grading plans and equipment, and the ability to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

• Crew Leadership:
  Supervise daily grading, site prep and earthwork operations
• Equipment Operation:
  Oversee and operate heavy machinery for excavation and back filling
• Project Planning:
  Collaborate with management to sequence tasks and review project specs
  
  Technical Accuracy:
  Maintain precise grade alignment using GPS/Trimble, lasers and transits
• Quality & Safety:
  Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and engineering plans

• Proven expertise as a Grading Foreman with preferred 5+ years of experience specific to civil grading/site work
• High proficiency in managing digital documentation efficiently to track daily progress, crew hours, referencing physical and digital blueprints, cost tracking, quantity reports, etc.
• Strong leadership and communication skills—you can manage a crew and keep production moving
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specs
• Proven track record of managing crews effectively while maintaining high morale, a safety first mindset and a deep respect for job site protocols
