Job Description
- Plan, coordinate, document, and oversee all maintenance activities for production equipment, support systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Tool and Die repair, maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Ensure rapid response and resolution to unplanned equipment breakdowns to support production targets.
- Assists and provides guidance to production team members, train new employees on daily maintenance items.
- Aide planner with scheduling and workflow when affected by maintenance operation.
- Monitor performance and condition of CNC machines, pumps, presses, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain compressor, lighting, and other facility systems critical to plant operations.
- Coordinate maintenance support during product changeovers, shutdowns, and plant upgrades.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance protocols.
- Coordinate and lead the installation of new manufacturing equipment, workstations, and tooling fixtures.
- Ensure new installations are compliant with safety standards, properly integrated into existing systems, and tested before production use.
- Work with engineering and production teams to plan layouts and utility needs for new machinery and equipment.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to effectively work individually in a team environment.
- Responsible with excellent attendance (must set an example).
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 70‑lbs.
- Operate manual mills, lathes, drill presses and other machine equipment for fixture and tooling repair.
- Troubleshoot shop equipment issues.
- Experience with mechanical assemblies and use of various hand tools and air tools.
- Competent with basic shop mathematics.
- Be able to use shop measuring and inspection tools.
- Great collaborator with a growth mindset, eager to continuously improve themselves and those around them.
- Shows record of reliability and trustworthiness.
