Job Description–Safety Technician Summary/Objective
Responsibleforsupportingthecompany’ssafetyprogramandforprovidingguidancetopersonneltoenhancethecompany’sSafetyculturebyconductingongoingsupportandauditservicesofallsafetyprogramsforthe Arizona Locations .
Essential Functions- Continuouslydemonstrateandpromotesafetytodevelopaworkplacesafetyculturethatcanachieveanaccidentandinjuryfreestatus.
- Participatesinthedevelopmentandimplementationofcompany-widesafetyprogramsandinformulatingprogramstrategiesandpolicies.
- Provide son-goingsupportinmanaging,investigatingandclassifyingaccidents,injuriesandnearmissesinvolvingemployeesandvehicles.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysisreviewsandreportsasrequired .
- Assistsuperintendentstoensureemployeesareincompliancewithsafetytrainingrequirements.
- Conduct and/orassist,asneeded,insafetymeetingsandpresentationsatalllevels
- Providesafetysupporttovariousdepartmentsandindividualsasitrelatestocustomerneeds.
- Perform Operational Safetyinspectionsandprovidecomprehensivereportstoensurecompliancewithapplicable OSHA,DOT,FMCSAandEPASafety Policies and Standards

30andOSHA
510certification - Mustpossessexcellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsandtypingskills.
- Musthavebasic Microsoft Office experience (Word,Excel,PowerPoint)
- Businessschoolandcollegecreditsinsafetyarepreferred.
- Mustpossessavaliddriver’slicense.
- Workisprimarilyconductedinthefield.
