** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, platforms, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic public areas to help to control access, observe passenger and visitor activity, and support orderly operations throughout the location.

+ Assist with directing passengers and visitors, providing information, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or facility concerns that could affect daily operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
