What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and emergency response activities within an automotive manufacturing location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, warehouses, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support authorized access procedures for personnel, deliveries, and vendors.

* Support order at the location by communicating professionally with staff and guests, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* A guard card and/or license is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
