Competitive PayThis position offers an hourly wage ranging from $24/hr to $35/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do- Perform safe completion of routine and non‑routine repairs and construction.
- Installation and repair of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment (substations, power distribution systems, switch gear, motors, motor control systems, components, process controls, instrumentation, and pneumatic equipment).
- Assist with troubleshooting of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
- Basic experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical circuits and connected equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Some construction/laborer experience preferred.
- Must have minimum personal tools as described by the department tool list (or be able to obtain them within 90 days of hire date).
- Must have a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Work is performed in a mine or manufacturing plant which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms.
- May be required to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation that includes weekends, holidays, and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as schedule dictates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to noise, grease, and industrial conditions.
