Position: Building Secretary (10.5 month position)
Overview:

Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment as a

Building Secretary at Sycamore Creek Elementary. This is a 10.5 month (221 days) position.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED equivalency

* Secretarial office experience preferred including general desktop publishing, editing, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite skills

* Excellent organizational and communication skills both orally and written

* Experience with a wide range of office equipment

* Typing speed of at least 40 wpm with accuracy and proper use of grammar
* * Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed

* Must be respectful and work collaboratively with peers

* Must be dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic

* Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations

* Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations

* Ability to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, positive, respectful climate
