** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by greeting students, staff, faculty, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk while following site-specific security-related procedures and visitor protocols.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when appropriate, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in required logs.

+ Answer phones, assist with directions, and support front desk communication needs while helping to address questions, concerns, and/or routine requests in a professional manner.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and completing required reports.

+ Observe activity in the lobby and other assigned entry areas through in-person presence and/or camera systems, helping to identify unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
