STV is seeking an experienced
** Electrical Department Manager
** to lead and grow our electrical engineering group at our Douglassville PA office. This role is responsible for managing a team of engineers and designers, overseeing project execution, maintaining technical quality, and supporting business development efforts.

The ideal candidate will combine
** strong technical expertise in electrical power/design systems
** with
** proven leadership and team management experience**.###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering Department, including engineers, designers, and support staff.
* Oversee
** project delivery, scheduling, and budget performance
** across multiple projects.
* Provide technical direction for design of
** medium- and low-voltage power systems**, lighting, grounding, and related infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.).
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, mechanical, civil, and structural) to deliver integrated designs.
* Mentor and supervise engineering staff. Support professional development and performance improvement.
* Review and approve engineering documents, specifications, calculations, and reports.
* Support business development through
** proposal preparation, client interaction, and strategic growth initiatives**.
* Manage staffing levels, workload planning, and resource allocation.
* Serve as a technical representative in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.###
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
* 15+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, including leadership roles.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
* Strong knowledge of
** power distribution systems (MV/LV), protection studies, and electrical design principles**.
* Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and engineering teams.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.###
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience with transportation, industrial, or large facility projects.
* Familiarity with software such as SKM, ETAP, Revit, and AutoCAD.
* Strong background in specification development and construction support.###
