Senior Software Engineer - Java, Angular

As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's  Asset Management organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot microservices, Angular/React, and relational databases

- Build and deploy scalable microservices and micro applications on Kubernetes / Open Shift (OCP)

- Develop modern frontend solutions, including micro frontends and module federation

- Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases to support transactional and analytical workloads

- Design and integrate REST and SOAP APIs for internal and third-party systems

- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring high-quality delivery

- Perform hands-on unit testing and functional testing to ensure application reliability

- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, Dev Ops, and global teams in an Agile environment

- Act as a team player and contribute to collaboration and innovation

- Take ownership of deliverables and proactively add value

- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a full stack software engineer

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Angular/React

- Experience with micro applications and distributed systems

- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases

- Proven experience in API design (REST & SOAP)

- Hands-on unit and functional testing experience

- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Git)

- Agile methodology experience

- Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes/Open Shift, containers

- Strong ownership mindset and value-driven approach

- Excellent communication skills
