Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Lactation Consultant Program Coordinator for a 13‑week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA.

Start date:

6/22/2026.

Contract:

13 weeks. Traveler Policy:
Will not consider any traveler who resides within 50 miles of the facility.

This position is responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. For patients with advanced lactation support needs, the RN will formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with the care team.

• Admit and assess patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor vital signs and symptoms
• Operate and track medical equipment
• Run and order tests
• Coordinate care with physicians and specialists

• 1+ years experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (BCLC); equivalent certs NOT accepted
• Minimum 2,500 hours as a breast‑feeding consultant
• Experience with inpatient lactation programs
• Experience with outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations, and/or teaching
• Strong knowledge of Meditech Expanse preferred
• CERTS must be in hand at profile upload (non‑negotiable)
• Perm address must be included with profile
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
• Must have Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) uploaded with traveler profile
