- Oversee and coordinate all facets of maintenance operations & property upgrades
- Manage and work alongside external vendors and in‑house staff
- Complete work orders, unit turnovers, & property projects as directed by Corporate policies
- Oversee all property expenses, including material ordering, vendor contracts & invoicing
- Maintain unit turnover & renovation schedules
- Drive a professional, courteous, and service‑oriented atmosphere
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate all operations staff
- Create and maintain detailed weekly progress reports and project agendas
- Serve as liaison with project inspectors, contractors, engineers, and municipal authorities
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance and/or renovation, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair; EPA certification & HVAC repair experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in property maintenance, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role; multifamily experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with vendors, contractors, and team members
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between properties or offsite as needed
- Must supply and maintain basic hand and power tools required for the position
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and smartphone applications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical, vocational, or trade school training is desirable
- Ability to successfully pass a background check, with any criminal convictions considered based on relevance to the position and in compliance with applicable laws
- Must be available to respond to after‑hours emergency maintenance calls
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Capability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50‑lbs
