Contract Senior UX Designer – Dallas/Plano, TX (Remote)

This 18‑week contract position focuses on end‑to‑end UX and UI design for digital product initiatives, emphasizing the improvement of complex user workflows. It is based in Dallas/Plano, TX, but work will be remote, with a preference for local candidates.

Contract Duration: 4–5 months.

Responsibilities

60% UX Design and Research – conceptualize, design, and research user experiences across complex workflows.
40% UI Design and Prototyping – translate concepts into polished UI and interactive prototypes using Figma.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of UX or product design experience.
Strong experience designing end‑to‑end user experiences across complex workflows.
Portfolio demonstrating UI and UX work (required for consideration).
Expertise with Figma or similar design tools.
Experience working with product and engineering teams.
Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles.

Desired Skills & Experience

Background in enterprise, financial, or B2B products.
Experience with user research and usability testing tools.
Familiarity with design systems and scalable UI patterns.
Exposure to AI‑supported design or research tools.
Ability to work in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
