Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cloud Database Platform Engineer to join their team. As a Cloud Database Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Provide technical direction and oversight of technology and automation solutions for a resilient, secure, and robust infrastructure.

+ Manage vulnerability remediation and design automated patching strategies.

+ Design, deploy, and maintain databases on containers within Kubernetes / Open Shift platforms.

+ Implement highly resilient, secure, scalable, and performant architectures in hybrid cloud environments.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready infrastructure platforms and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and operational best practices.

** What's Needed?*
* + Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle/Exadata, Postgre

SQL, Cockroach

DB, Redis, or DB2.

+ Knowledge of managing databases on containers, including scheduling, networking, storage, and secrets management.

+ Experience operating infrastructure services and database workloads in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

+ Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and automated deployment approaches.

+ Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with a focus on security, reliability, and compliance.
