Solder Associate

Adecco is actively seeking solder associates with previous experience. They must solder at least Class 2 under IPC-610. Pay is dependent on previous experience. This role is for a leading company in electronics manufacturing.

Brief

Job Summary:

· Operating soldering equipment, soldering tools, and other duties as assigned by the lead.

· Hourly, non-exempt, full-time position

Typically

Reports to:

· Lead, production manager, management, and other key personnel

Qualifications:

· Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident.

· Must have the ability to work efficiently and work well in a team environment.

· Must be punctual and have good attendance.

· Minimum high school diploma or GED, or

· Experience with machine operation and able to read, write, and understand English

· Must be detail oriented.

· Class II or Class III Solder Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of various electronic components

· Proficiency in soldering tools and equipment

· 2-3 years of proven soldering experience

Physical Demands and Activity:

· Use of hands and tools to properly perform the job.

· Lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Main Functions:

· Must be able to work with provided documentation.

· Must be able to work with solder, components, winding coils, cable wire, chassis assembly, mechanical assembly, and tools.

· Perform soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using various soldering techniques.

· Must be able to check that all thru-hole components are present and seated properly on the PCB.

· Understand and properly use materials provided by process engineering to perform the job and make sure that all equipment is running properly and safely on a daily basis.

· Immediately notifying the lead in the event that any equipment is malfunctioning.

· Performing all required preventative maintenance and maintenance for the machine's operation and documents per our "Good Documentation Practices Procedure" on the proper logs.

· Maintain a clean work area.

· Perform proficiently at a quality standard set by the company's mission and commitment statement.

Additional Functions:

· Associate will be required to take all appropriate training classes as assigned.

· Willingness to cross-train into other departments.

** Pay Details:**  $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
