Senior Soldering Technician
Location:
Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of soldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Ability to successfully pass a soldering skills test
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident in compliance with ITAR requirements
- Fluent in reading and writing English
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documentation and manufacturing procedures
- Machine operation experience preferred
- Perform precision soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using approved soldering methods and industry standards
- Assemble, inspect, and verify through-hole components for proper placement, alignment, and quality compliance
- Work with solder, cable wiring, winding coils, chassis assemblies, mechanical assemblies, and electronic subassemblies
- Operate soldering equipment and related manufacturing tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, schematics, travelers, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Review and interpret technical documentation to ensure assembly accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Identify and report quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, or process issues to leads or supervisors
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and maintain accurate production documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Meet established production schedules while maintaining quality standards
- Support training and cross‑training initiatives as needed
