Developer, Java Developer, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. Candidate must have strong expertise in Java microservice development and the ability to design and deliver scalable solutions across AWS environments.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develops high‑quality Java microservices using Spring Boot, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and cloud‑native principles.
• Implements integrations with AWS services, Kafka, Docker, and other platform components to support scalable system design.
• Oversees technical activities by guiding developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing best practices across the team.
• Collaborates with UI, backend teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration, clear communication, and consistent project delivery.
• Optimizes application performance through tuning, debugging, and ensuring adherence to CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Addresses API development, security mechanisms such as OAuth/SSO, and complex issues related to microservice interactions and deployment.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 10+ Years of experience required.
• Required strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, AWS, and cloud‑native development practices.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, Docker, design patterns, and API/security integration such as OAuth and SSO.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
