Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the point of contact between the plant director and employees
  • Organizing meetings and booking meeting rooms
  • Handling correspondence directed to managers
  • Making travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries
  • Producing reports and presentations including organization charts and production reports
  • Entering Purchasing data to ensure timely delivery of production needs
  • Maintaining the current filing and database system, as well as looking for ways to improve current systems

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent, Bachelor's Degree in Business is a plus
  • 5+ years Administrative Assistant experience, preferably for manufacturing company
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Well-developed organizational skills
