Assistant Management Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established business based in Poole, Dorset. We have been appointed to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join our client's finance team, initially on a three-month basis.

The successful candidate will help support the Financial Controller during a transformation process and project-based work on system integrations. This is a pivotal role and requires an immediate start.

• Assessing journal postings, cash allocations and balances against accounts to ensure these are correct;
• Analytical work using systems and Excel to unravel accounts and drill into the numbers;
• Working closely with the Management Accountant & Accounts Assistant to improve processes;
• Checking a high volume of transactions and ensuring these are allocated and reconciled.

• The ideal candidate will ideally be studying and at a part qualified level;
• Detailed experience in month-end processes and 'what good looks like' when working efficiently through accounting systems;
• Analytical mindset and confident using Excel daily to crunch numbers;
• Good understanding of journal posting, accounts receivable processes and reconciliations.
