Position Summary

The Budget Coordinator is an integral part of the Jenkins Plumbing construction process. This role works closely with our estimating department and field offices to ensure that a complete set of specifications is provided before work begins on each lot. The Budget Coordinator monitors builder purchase orders and schedules, and promptly notifies the appropriate departments of any changes to specifications or fixtures in a timely manner.

This position also works with builders, field supervisors, and internal teams to maintain budget accuracy from the start of construction through final billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the estimating department and field offices to confirm complete specs prior to construction start
• Monitor builder purchase orders and construction schedules for changes
• Notify appropriate departments promptly of any specification or fixture changes
• Review builder plans, purchase orders, and selection documents for assigned lots
• Create and maintain accurate plumbing budgets for each residential home
• Ensure all materials and fixtures align with builder specifications
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between plans, selections, and field installation
• Communicate with builders and internal teams to confirm changes or upgrades
• Support accurate billing by ensuring budgets reflect all approved updates
• Maintain organized documentation for each project
• Manage multiple lots and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in construction, plumbing, purchasing, or budgeting preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with ECI Bolt software and/or procurement and supply systems such as Supply Pro is a strong plus

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.
  
  - 4:00 p.m.
