* Acting as the bio/pharmaceutical client liaison within the laboratory by communicating client's requirements to the technical staff
* Maintaining project-related documentation, communicating desired turnaround times, and managing information flow
* Facilitating and organizing client audits, visits, and conference calls; monitoring ongoing projects and providing status updates as needed
* Auditing client sample paperwork and resolving discrepancies
* Overseeing the general administration of bio/pharmaceutical projects (issuing quotations, answering billing and reporting questions, and scheduling sample pickups)

The ideal candidate would possess :

* Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
* Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
* Balances client needs and satisfaction with internal laboratory requirements for project success (act as advocate to both) and ensures that information is distributed to all who need it
* Obtains necessary information for quote preparation and provides to pricing group for quote generation
* Audits sample paperwork at required times
* Schedules, coordinates and participates in client conference calls, visits and audits; attends meetings with technical groups as needed
* Documents client interactions into the project log database
* Assess client satisfaction by entering client concerns and complaints into the exception system; works with Group Leader to assist with resolution
* Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
* Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
* Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies


* Bachelor's degree in science, business, or equivalent directly-related experience preferred (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
* Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Portage, MI are encouraged to apply.
