Job SummaryThe Entry-level Electrical Engineer position focuses on the design of electrical systems for new facilities, additions, and renovations. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance for construction drawings and specifications, existing system studies, and master planning. Qualified candidates will engage with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors, and others to address electrical issues and develop effective working relationships. Client sectors include K-12 Education, Higher Education, Commercial, Health Care, Science and Technology, municipal, and institutional facilities.
Responsibilities- Develop electrical system designs for a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
- Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing electrical systems
- Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
- Write/edit project specifications
- Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
- Code compliance research
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Perform QA/QC of design work
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Engineer in Training Certification preferred
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Experience with Revit and MS Office preferred
- Experience with lighting software preferred
- Ability to travel

Compensation & BenefitsThe expected base salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location. This role is eligible for performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive U.S.
