Reports to Assistant Controller.

In Brief:
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role administers full charge invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounting for the Supply Chain Services & Office Solutions social enterprise transactions.

Primary focuses include: Processing Invoices, Accounting, Customer Support, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgeting & Financial Reporting, and other duties as assigned.

-Timely & accurate production of the following:
-Customer billings
-Guidance and oversight of cash receipts postings to customer accounts
-Routine communications to internal stakeholders regarding past due accounts
-Timely approval & coding of vendor and supplier invoices and ensuring correct customer bill back amounts for shipping and supplies expenses
-Communicates routinely with customers to ensure customer account balances are current

Presence at the worksite during normal business hours is an essential function of this position.

-Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
-At least 3-years previous experience in accounting, specifically customer billing and financial analysis
-Solid financial acumen and proficient in accounting & financial principles; able to understand complex financial concepts
-Demonstrated problem solving and resolution skills
-Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel & Office Suite, and demonstrated comfort working with a variety of software/ERP systems
-Ability to communicate complex technical matters effectively with technical and non-technical audiences alike
-Strong communication skills, including spoken, written, and listening
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
-Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service for internal and external customers
-Actively demonstrates Not-for-Profit mission & commitments
-Adaptable to changing business needs
-Willingness to work in an open office and warehouse environment (as needed)
-Capable of establishing strong working relationships with team members
-Ability to prioritize independently, make good decisions, and formulate process efficiencies for areas of responsibility
