Senior Wealth Management Associate – Portland, OR | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
A growing, employee‑owned wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Wealth Management Associate to join its Portland office. - Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, custodians, and outside advisors (CPAs, attorneys).
- Participate in client meetings, manage agendas, track follow‑ups, and communicate post‑meeting action items.
- Use financial planning tools to evaluate cash flow, long‑term planning, and asset allocation.
- Prepare analyses to support major financial decisions (insurance, 529s, refinancing, etc.).
- Oversee workflow for Client Service Associates and handle money movement requests.
- Lead the new client onboarding process from start to finish.
- Coordinate annual tax reporting and collaborate with CPAs on tax documentation.
- Review client paperwork for onboarding, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Manage client touchpoints—anniversaries, thank‑you notes, and gifts.
- 3–5+ years of experience in wealth management (RIA experience preferred).
- Series 65 + FPQP or first CFP module (or willingness to complete within 12–18 months—firm‑paid).
- Strong proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM/planning software (Salesforce, eMoney, Tamarac) a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (finance or related field).
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to delegate, problem‑solve, and manage a busy workflow.
- Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days onsite (Tue/Wed/Thu), option to work remotely the remaining days
- Hours:
8:00am–5:00pm
