Providence is calling an Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) Technologist to Providence St.Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. (1.0 FTE, 10 hour shifts, Includes weekends) In this position, you will: * Perform electrocardiography exams on inpatients and outpatients. * Assist physicians with technical component of stress electrocardiographs and/or stress echocardiograms. * Obtain 12-lead EKG's, Holter monitor application and recordings, event Monitor application and recordings, and signal-average EKG Recordings from in-Patients and out-patients. * Maintain office procedures and processing of patient data, using a variety of information systems. * Scan Holter monitor recordings as needed. Required qualifications for this position include: * High school diploma or equivalent * Successful completion of basic electrocardiogram course or equivalent knowledge of electrocardiogram rhythms and interpretation * Experience in electrocardiogram testing, direct patient care, and/or working within the hospital setting * Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification About Providence in Oregon As the largest healthcare system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.
