Registered Nurse - PRN

Job Overview

This is a PRN (as-needed) nursing position nic operating hours are Monday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Tuesday through Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Candidates must have availability to work 1–2 days per week, Monday through Thursday.

• Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and follow infection control procedures
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required;
  Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from a four‑year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification in basic life support for healthcare providers (AHA, ARC or equivalent) required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Primary care experience strongly preferred
