Description
Sheet metal Laborer supports HVAC installation and fabrication operations by assisting the sheet metal journeyman and sheet metal foreman with performing the removal, installation and start – up of HVAC equipment in multi-family and commercial projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to follow instructions in construction and commercial jobsites.
Duties and Responsibilities- Install duct work systems in multi-family and commercial facilities.
- Install, operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, combustion equipment and industrial air compressors.
- Installing and fabricating duct work and cold boxes the use of hand and power tools and benders.
- Perform other reasonable tasks that may be requested by the Company.
- Ductwork Takeoff experience ideal but not required
- Knowledge of construction practices
- Physical stamina and attention to detail
