Charge Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing
Community: Grand Plains Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing
Community Type: Skilled Nursing
Location: Pratt, Kansas
Shifts Available: Days – 8 or 12 hours
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: Starting at $37.50–$40.50/hour
Responsibilities- Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
- Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
- Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
- Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
- Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met.
- Address, document, and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect.
- Ensure appropriate supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicate needs to leadership.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety.
- Uphold Americare’s mission, vision, values, and company policies.
- Licensure / Certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience &
Skills:- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.
- Experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or senior living preferred.

- Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed.
