Overview

PR3 Area (Village Primary School) — September 2026 Start — Full-Time | Term-Time Only — Competitive Pay via Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a highly regarded village primary school in the PR3 area to recruit a committed and nurturing EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start.

This is a full-time opportunity supporting a child within Early Years, where you will play a vital role in their development, learning and emotional wellbeing.

You will be joining a school where staff are valued, supported, and genuinely passionate about pupil progress.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 tailored support for a pupil with additional needs in EYFS
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning
Support the child with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Help maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and SENCo

Requirements / Qualifications

Has experience working with EYFS and/or SEN (desirable)
Has a Level 3 Childcare/EYFS qualification or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
Is patient, caring, and resilient
Can build strong, trusting relationships with children
Is proactive and able to use their own initiative
Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
