Cleaner – Part Time

Deliver excellent service standards through routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure service delivery meets all SLA agreements and follows cleaning schedules.

• Complete all required training for the role.
• Work effectively within a team and independently.
• Adhere to Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain the assigned area to agreed cleanliness levels in line with Contract and SLAs, carrying out daily, weekly and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Deliver services efficiently and to high standards.
• Keep equipment clean, well‑maintained and safe.
• Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning.
• Maintain security: lock doors, follow lost‑property procedures, etc.
• Have thorough knowledge of the designated area, work specifications, and time allocations.
• Understand all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
• Model professionalism in dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance.
• Follow all safeguarding policies and raise concerns as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure contractors and visitors comply with security and health and safety while on premises.
• Build positive and productive relationships with customers, seeking continuous improvement.
• Perform any other duties within the holder’s capability as required by the business.

• Cleaning experience preferred; training can be provided.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will provide satisfactory references.
