- Training who is eager to grow their technical skills while supporting the Water Resources team and working under the supervision of Professional Engineers and Senior Hydrotechnical Specialists. This position involves a mix of office and field-based work, with opportunities to contribute to a broad portfolio of water resources projects across British Columbia and will be based out of our Prince George office.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, with focus/completed coursework in hydrology and hydraulics.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in hydrotechnical engineering, civil construction, and water resources sectors is an asset; experience may include hydrologic or hydraulic modelling, site inspections, construction support, or design and review of drainage, culverts, levees, or other water related infrastructure.
• Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC), or eligibility for registration.
• Demonstrated experience and comfort working on and around water, including in field conditions such as rivers, streams, reservoirs, construction sites, and other aquatic or riparian environments.
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s licence in British Columbia, with a safe driving record and ability to travel to project sites.
