Maintenance Associates are members of the Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Department is responsible for all maintenance needs within the Distribution Center. This includes general housekeeping as well as all maintenance performed on the building, fixtures, and/or equipment.

- Sort recyclables and trash safely and properly.
- Meet minimum productivity standards.
- Enter all preventive maintenance performed on building/equipment daily.
- Print daily entry of completed preventive maintenance work orders.
- Enter maintenance work orders into the designated tracking system.
- Provide administrative support to the Maintenance department.
- Occasionally use hand and power tools.
- Perform general warehouse maintenance, including painting.
- Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
- Must be able to operate all equipment necessary to perform the role, including pallet jacks, various styles of forklifts, and other material‑handling equipment.
- Ability to work independently and be self‑motivated to seek work.
- Willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
- Ability to complete assignments within allotted time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done).
- Ability to operate a floor scrubber to perform floor cleanings as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to bend and twist frequently.
- Must be able to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
