Job Profile Summary

FSY Teachers prepare and deliver lessons at FSY sessions, ensuring that all involved leave better than they came. We seek individuals with strong faith in Jesus Christ and in His Restored Gospel to serve as role models of divine sisterhood and honorable priesthood holders, future missionaries, mothers, fathers, and leaders in the Lord's Church and kingdom.

Payment for FSY Teachers is $200 for a two-day contract.

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate participants.
• Help youth have a positive and uplifting experience and handle disciplinary situations with sensitivity.
• Understand, follow, and enforce FSY policies addressing general conduct, youth protection, sexual misconduct, and standards of communication.
• Read and study the FSY Staff Handbook prior to the first contracted week.

• Teaching ability and strong communication skills.
• Appropriate appearance and sincerity.
• Attitude of sharing and personal testimony.
• Willingness to adhere to FSY policies prohibiting promotion of personal goods, services, or any organization.
• Willingness to adhere to the FSY travel policy.
• Compliance with Brigham Young University Honor Code, FSY Dress Code, and current temple recommend.
• Strong example set by living the Gospel, teaching effectively, administering appropriately, and bearing heartfelt testimony.
• Previous EFY/FSY employment experience or equivalent leadership experience supervising peers and/or youth.
• Pass required background check.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
• No visa sponsorship provided.
• Willingness to travel to various FSY locations as needed.
