We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing (Java + Selenium). The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in manual testing, solid analytical skills, and hands-on experience in automation frameworks. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed manual testing including functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and contribute to automation coverage
Create, review, and maintain test cases, test plans, and documentation
Perform API, UI, and integration testing to validate end-to-end workflows
Execute test cases (manual & automated), analyze results, and report defects with clear reproduction steps
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.)
Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and quality risks
Continuously improve QA processes, strategies, and automation practices
Required
Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation)
Strong experience in manual testing (test case design, execution, defect tracking)
Strong programming skills in Java
Hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver (2–4+ years)
Experience with frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber
Solid experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Good to Have
Experience in transitioning projects from manual to automation
Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber
Basic knowledge of performance testing (JMeter or similar)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with Git/version control
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
