As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Full Time in Purchase, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Day Time Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Thu 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and report findings to appropriate personnel.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site‑specific policies and procedures while performing assigned duties.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
