We’re looking for a Social Media Lead who doesn’t just “manage accounts” but owns social as a business driver.
This role is responsible for turning Snoonu’s social platforms into high-performing growth channels by combining content, culture, data, and execution.
You will lead the full social ecosystem: planning, publishing, performance, community, and collaboration with influencers and campaigns.
You’ll work closely with creative, production, and influencer teams to ensure everything we put out is on-brand, on-time, and impactful.
Responsibilities- Strategy & planning
- Own and evolve Snoonu’s social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, X, Snap Chat, etc.)
- Translate campaign objectives into clear social plans, formats, and content calendars
- Identify trends, formats, and cultural moments relevant to Qatar & MENA
- Ensure consistency between brand voice, campaigns, and daily content
- Content execution & publishing
- Manage and oversee end-to-end publishing (posts, reels, stories, captions, timing)
- Work closely with Creative & Production teams to deliver high-quality, platform-native content
- Ensure all content meets brand standards, tone, and campaign objectives
- Own real-time content opportunities (reactive / moment marketing)
- Performance & optimization
- Track and analyze performance across all platforms (reach, engagement, conversions)
- Translate data into clear insights & actionable improvements
- Continuously optimize content formats, timing, and messaging
- Community & deputation management
- Oversee DMs, comments, and mentions using tools like Hootsuite & Sprout Social
- Ensure fast, on-brand, and culturally aware responses
- Monitor sentiment, elevate issues, and protect brand reputation
- Identify opportunities to engage and build community loyalty
- Influencer & campaign alignment
- Align closely with the Influencers team on coverage plans, posting timelines, and content integration
- Ensure influencer content fits into the overall social narrative
- Support major campaigns with strong social rollouts & amplification
- Team coordination & ownership
- Manage and support Social Media Executives / Coordinators
- Ensure clear workflows, deadlines, and accountability
- 3-5+ years in social media management (agency or in-house)
- Proven experience managing high-volume, fast-paced accounts
- Experience in content-driven brands, tech, or consumer platforms is a plus
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms & trends
- Ability to balance creative thinking with a performance mindset
- Fluent in both Arabic & English (written and spoken) – mandatory
- Solid copywriting skills across AR & EN with cultural nuance (no literal translations)
- Hands‑on content creation ability (mobile-first), able to shoot, capture, and produce quick social content using a phone when needed
