Mainframe Delivery Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the delivery of mainframe projects in a dynamic environment. This role requires a strong technical background and project management experience, particularly within the financial services sector.

• Strong knowledge in PL1, COBOL, DB2, JCL, and SQL Stored Procedure Development
• Experience with RTC IDZ tools and JIRA
• Knowledge of Online CICS, MQ, and Batch Processing
• Proficiency in supporting tools like SPUFI and FILE-AID
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• IT project management experience, preferably in Financial Services Custody
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall), Jira, and Confluence
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

• Knowledge of custody operations, corporate actions, income processing, settlements (DTC, Euroclear, Clearstream), reconciliation, SWIFT messaging (MTMX, ISO 20022), cash management, and end-of-day processes
• Familiarity with risk, compliance, and audit standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Plan and deliver end-to-end projects including requirements gathering, design, testing, cutover, and hypercare
• Manage RAID logs and provide regular monthly status updates for senior management reporting on Clarity
• Coordinate UAT and production readiness to ensure stable post-go-live performance
• Manage IT budget planning and project time tracking on Clarity
• Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
• Apply agile methodologies to streamline the development and testing process
• Guide teams through complex cutovers and stabilize post-implementation
