Responsibilities

Lab Administrator in support of an industry leading technology development client in Quincy, WA. Candidates should be driven to make positive changes to the way people live and work by creating breakthrough technology solutions. Lab Administrators must have a firm grasp of concepts within the lab and can perform the following tasks with little or no supervision:

  • Installation of network and/or computer equipment
  • Software re‑installation of lab devices
  • Adding new devices to our database system
  • Troubleshooting and replacing broken hardware
  • Building or changing topologies between devices and documenting the changes
  • Building and deploying Virtual Machines (e.g., using Open Stack/Contrail or ESX vCenter)
Duties Include
  • Receiving, stocking and issuing electronic and mechanical equipment and components
  • Verifying item quantity and condition
  • Maintaining a controlled area for storage of project materials
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Cycle/inventory counting
  • Tagging and tracking of assets
  • RMA processing (asset transfer & tracking)
  • Assisting Lab Admins in setting up testbeds
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of related experience in Software Development or Support. Focused experience in a key area of Software Development support relevant to the job being performed.
  • Willingness to work evening or overnight hours.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably, in good faith, believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
